Neil Young cancels European tour
London: Singer Neil Young has cancelled the rest of his European tour after his guitarist Frank `Poncho` Sampedro broke his hand.
The `Heart of Gold` musician has pulled out of dates in the UK, Norway, Denmark and Germany, reported Contactmusic.
"Due to an accident involving Crazy Horse, the remaining dates on the Neil Young and Crazy Horse tour of Europe and the British Isles have been cancelled," the Canadian singer said in a statement.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our fans or the festivals where we were scheduled to appear. As you must be, we too are disappointed at this unfortunate turn of events," he added.
Despite axing the dates, Poncho is expected to be fit for the 67-year-old musician`s North American tour, which kicks off in Ontario, Canada on August 31.
