Oasis has topped the list of Triple J`s hottest 100 songs of the last 20 years with its 1995 hit `Wonderwall`, beating The White Stripes and Jeff Buckley.

Melbourne: Oasis has topped the list of Triple J`s hottest 100 songs of the last 20 years with its 1995 hit `Wonderwall`, beating The White Stripes and Jeff Buckley.
More than 940,000 people voted to select the best song in the last 20 years, in the competition that triggered a twitter debate on what song should have been on the top and what shouldn`t, News.com.au reported.
Wolfmother, Silverchair, Daft Punk, The Offspring, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Radiohead and Muse were some of the well-known artists who got a place on the list.
