New Delhi: After pop star Lady Gaga and Metallica, it`s time for Indian music lovers to gear up for foot tapping experience with Pitbull. The American rapper is excited on his maiden visit in December.
Armando Christian Perez, better known as Pitbull, will perform in Noida Dec 2, Mumbai Dec 3 and Pune Dec 4.
"Are my fans in India ready to be a part of the Planet Pit? The wait is finally over and now for the first time ever I`m excited to bring my live show to India. I can`t wait for my fans to join me where I`ll be performing all of your favorites," Pitbull said in a statement.
"In fact I`ve been travelling a lot around the world and have heard fascinating stories about India and its people and simply can`t wait. Ever since I broke the news about my India tour on my website, it was heartwarming to read all the fan e-mails.
"I`m happy to know fans back in India love my latest album and hopefully my next album will have inspiration from India too," he added.
His play list for the concert will include popular tracks like "Hey baby", "Rain over me", "Give me everything", "Hey baby, I know you want me", "Hotel room service" and "On the floor".
The "Pitbull Live In Concert" is being brought to the country by P3P E Ventures Pvt. Ltd and the proceeds of the concert will be donated to NGO Suryoday Aids Foundation.
The opening act will be by VJ Anousha and DJ Aaron.
"India is a huge market for international artists and we aim to capitalise on this opportunity by identifying a confluence of musical styles, bringing together world class performers across genres on a single platform. Moreover an artist like Pitbull is the bridge builder who brings elements from all over the world and puts it all together so it sounds like nothing you`ve ever heard before," said Utkarsh Bansal, director, P3P E Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
The hip-hop rapper has earlier collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Alexandra Burke and Usher.
