Los Angeles: Rihanna, who was assulated by then-boyfriend Chris Brown three years ago, seems to have put the episode behind her to release a new single featuring the rapper on her birthday.
Rihanna marked her 24th birthday by releasing her hotly-anticipated duet with Brown on Monday, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The R&B star tweeted out a remixed version of Brown`s single `Turn Up The Music` that features her own vocals as well, writing, "Turn up the music remix #RihannaNavy #Teambreezy enjoy!!!"
The song hit the net mere moments after a remixed version of Rihanna`s own track `Birthday Cake`, which features Brown, arrived online. Rihanna and Brown each debuted remixed version of their own tracks featuring each other at the exact same time.
The two songs have arrived three years after the stars split following Brown`s arrest for assaulting Rihanna on the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards.
The altercation landed Brown a conviction and saw him sentenced to probation and community service, while he was also ordered to stay away from the `Umbrella` hitmaker.
