Rihanna takes inspiration from Rod Stewart`s Style

London: R&B star Rihanna says rocker Rod Stewart is one of her style icons.

The 24-year-old `S&M` hitmaker, who is famed for her towering heels and raunchy outfits, said she has several fashion muses including the 67-year-old `Maggie May` hitmaker, Contactmusic reported. "The Olsen twins are sick. Debbie Harry, definitely, and Vivienne Westwood is top notch. There are a couple of guys though - Johnny Depp`s style is just effortless and, for me, Rod Stewart gets it right," Rihanna said. The self-confessed former tomboy said she had a penchant for men`s clothes until her mid-teenage years. "As a little girl, I only ever wanted to wear my brothers` clothes. I grew up with my brothers and boy cousins, so it was only when I met my best friend at 14 and discovered fashion magazines that I got into heels. Before that, I always went out in sneakers and pants with a T-shirt rolled up. I was never girly." PTI
