Robin Gibb teams up with The Soldiers to record track for charity

Washington: Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb has teamed up with singing trio The Soldiers to record a track for charity.

Gibb, 61, has re-recorded the Bee Gees’ 1968 hit ‘I’ve Gotta Get a Message to You’ with The Soldiers, a British band comprising of Trooper Ryan Idzi, Sergeant Major Gary Chilton and Sergeant Richie Maddocks.

The single, due to be released next month will raise money for charities supporting the armed forces, Contactmusic reported.

Gibb will also shoot a music video with the group, and he’s even hinted he may perform a few live shows with them.
