Scherzinger is a beast on stage

London: Singer Nicole Scherzinger says she turns into a beast when she`s on stage and wants her solo songs to reflect that attitude.

"I told Red, when I go on stage I kind of turn into a beast sometimes, this other alter-ego, you know, that you kind of get to see in `Poison`. I want the music to bring that to life for me," a website quoted her as saying. "I feel like when I listen to some of the songs, I`m just like my own action hero," she added. The 32-year-old gave her opinion on using auto-tune, a recording effect which automatically alters singers` voices to be perfectly in tune. "I don`t really like auto-tune too much. But you wouldn`t have `Believe` by Cher without it. I`m more classic," she said. IANS
