London: Rapper Eminem, who rocked the V Festival in Weston Park, Staffs, and Chelmsford, Essex, on two different nights, has pocketed a cool 2million pounds for his efforts.
Eminem belted out a 25-track set, which means that he apparently charged around 40,000 pounds for every song.
Marshall Mathers also joined the rapper’s group D12 in a medley to keep the mood of the crowd ticking.
“Eminem is a smart guy. Him and his management know they’ll make cash quicker and without the hassle of organising and promoting gigs,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
“He has few overheads. He only needs roadies and a DJ,” the source added.
