Spears’ UK concert tickets find few takers

London: Thousands of tickets for Britney Spears’ Birmingham gig are still left unsold.

Just a week before her first concert, the insiders fear that the 16,000-capacity LG Arena at Birmingham may be only half full.

In an attempt to sell the tickets the promoters have slashed the prices of her Femme Fatale spectacular tour from the top 55 pounds to 30 pounds, the Sun reported.

Birmingham gig is the 29-year-old singer’s first since 2004 in the Midlands, when she had famously shaved off her hair following a ‘meltdown’.

The promoters are viewing the price cut in the concert’s ticket as a way to win ‘new consumers’.
