Sugababes get an Indian make-over

London: Sugababes, the popular girl band are sporting sarees and bindis in their latest avatar as Indian brides.

The musical trio of Amelle Barabah, Heidi Range and Jade Ewen got an Indian make-over for the cover of Asian Woman magazine, reported Sun online.

The British group which has chart-topping numbers like `Freak Like Me` and `Touch` to their credit seem keen to spread their fan base into the large Indian diaspora in the UK.

They have also remixed their recent single `About A Girl` with Indian instruments. They debuted the `desi` mix of the track at the UK Asian Music Awards in March.

Earlier `Pussycat Dolls` has walked the red carpet wearing sarees to announce their single `Jai Ho`.

Liz Hurley, Victoria Beckham and Ashley Judd are some other Hollywood beauties who have worn the saree.
