New York: Singer Susan Boyle`s dream of singing in front of the Pope came true after she marked the end of his open-air mass in Scotland Thursday.
People.com reports that around 65,000 people attended the ceremony in Bellahouston Park. Boyle performed three songs as part of a special mass to celebrate Pope Benedict XVI`s visit to Scotland.
Dressed in a long black coat and black heels, Boyle sang "I Dreamed a Dream" and hymn "How Great Thou Art". Some of the people were so inspired that they also sang along with her.
"It`s something I`ve always dreamed of, it`s something I`ve always wanted to do, and here I am, finally getting the chance," said Boyle.
