T I collaboration was like dream come true: Taylor Swift
London: Country singer Taylor Swift says she was stunned when rapper T I agreed to join her onstage in his native Atlanta.
The `Love Story` hitmaker, who delighted fans in Atlanta earlier this month when she brought R&B singer Usher onstage as her special guest for her first show in the city, admits it was a dream come true for her because she never expected T I to agree to the collaboration, Daily Star reported.
"I called T I the night before the show, so I felt like it`s such short notice that (he wouldn`t do it with me), and he`s just like, `Hey, yeah, sure.` And it was just amazing.
"I was so excited `cause I`m such a fan and I thought, `This is such short notice, this is so ridiculous` that I`m asking him to do this the night before. And he`s like, `I`ll be there.` And he showed up for sound check and we were all just so star-struck," she said.
The concert took place just days after T I was released from a halfway house after completing an 11-month prison sentence for a probation violation.
