The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to celebrate John Lennon`s 70 b`day

London: As a homage to the late Beatles star John Lennon, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will celebrate what would have been his 70th birthday.

The Rock Hall, in Cleveland, is set to honour the legendary singer`s life in a series of events from October 8 to October 10, reports the Mirror.

The events would include the dedication of a time capsule containing Lennon``s post-Beatles recordings and fan contributions, special tours of the Beatles exhibit, and film reel highlights from the Beatles`` and Lennon``s inductions into the Hall of Fame.

Fans would also sign a large birthday card expressing their wishes for the world throughout the weekend.

Lennon was born on October 9, 1940 and was killed in 1980 outside his Manhattan apartment building.
