Tom Cruise’s `auditioned ex` raps anti-Scientology song

New York: Tom Cruise’s former girlfriend Nazanin Boniadi has spoken out against the Church of Scientology in the form of a rap song.
Gawker posted a video shot by former ‘Village Voice’ editor Tony Ortega, featuring an anti-Scientology rap by Los Angeles-based Italian producer Titziano Lugli. The 32-year-old actress, who Vanity Fair’s Maureen Orth alleged was auditioned by the church to be Cruise’s girlfriend back in late 2004, has participated in the rap - which is the first time she’s said anything against the church. In the song Boniadi raps, “This ain’t no road to freedom / It’s a blind alley, like Kirstie Alley / Travolta, and Cruise, but we ain’t no fools,” a leading daily has reported. It’s significant that she name checks Scientology’s three famous members, including Cruise. According to Ortega, Lugli had written more lines for her that spoke directly to the way she’d allegedly been treated by Cruise, but she said she’d rather sing another song that she’d written - a ballad about her “‘faith’ being betrayed by someone who was going to be visited by ‘demons’.” ANI
