Melbourne: A Filipino girl’s video on YouTube, which shows her singing her own rendition of Whitney Houston’s hit song ‘I Will Always Love You,’ has taken internet by storm.
The clip shows Zendee Rose Tenerefe singing the song on a karaoke machine at a Manila shopping centre. Tenerefe, who goes by the online moniker “Random Girl of SM Megamall,” has got more than 500,00 hits after her powerful performance of the tragic singer’ song was posted on the video sharing website, News.com.au reported. In the video, shoppers are seen applauding, as the 21-year-old - whose voice sounds quite similar to the late soul diva Houston - sings the song perfectly. According to reports, the talented singer has now landed a spot on ‘Ellen DeGeneres’ TV show. Tenerefe had reportedly got through to the first round of ‘The X Factor’ Philippines but lost during the boot-camp stage. ANI
