Why Aguilera postponed her US tour

Christina Aguilera has revealed as to why she postponed her US tour.

London: Pop singer Christina Aguilera has revealed that the only reason she postponed her US tour is because she needed time to get it right. Aguilera, 29, had been accused by critics of running scared of ‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga after she suddenly postponed her live dates, due to start next month.

But the singer, who has been filming new movie 'Burlesque', insists that she wants to give the show her all, which she has not been able to do. “I’m such a perfectionist. I’m not doing something unless I give my all. I haven’t had time to think about the tour, what with the film,” a news daily quoted her as saying. “The tour is postponed. But it’s definitely going to happen. I was going crazy trying to figure out what the set list was and it felt too rushed, too soon. “There wasn’t enough time to prepare the kind of show I like to put on - which is my very best. “I knew we wouldn’t have the time to do it so the biggest, better Bionic tour will be next year, when we do have time,” she added.
