Mumbai: Of late, the Hindi film industry has started taking the horror genre seriously. With a number of filmmakers experimenting with a genre as challenging as horror, expectations from audiences are only multiplying manifold. And here comes another film from this category that promises to be intriguing.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bipasha Basu starrer ‘Aatma’ is produced by Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak and is directed by Suparn Verma.
Slated to release on March 22, the film written by Verma will see Bipasha and Nawazuddin playing a couple for the first time ever.
Both Basu and Siddiqui have had their share of exposure to the horror genre with films like ‘Raaz’ and ‘Talaash’ respectively.
Talking about her take on ghost films, Bipasha said, “I have become the face of fear. I don`t mind being a trend setter. We can do so many different things with horror as a genre.”
