New York: Singer-actor Justin Timberlake has returned to the top of the US Billboard charts with 968,000 sales of his comeback album `The 20/20 Experience`.
This also adds to the recent news that he topped the UK album charts with his fastest-selling ever record over there, with 106,000 copies to beat down David Bowie, on his own comeback, into second place, reported The Huffington Post.
Timberlake, 32, was not quite able to follow Taylor Swift`s `Red` as the 19th record to cross the million selling mark, which she achieved last Autumn.
But it was still a great return from a performer who has not put out an album since 2006`s `Future Sex/Love Sounds`.
Some other artists who recently moved a million in a week: are Whitney Houston (`The Bodyguard` soundtrack, 1992), Backstreet Boys (`Millenium`, 1999), Britney Spears (`Oops!... I Did It Again`, 2000), Eminem (`The Marshall Mathers LP`, 2000 and `The Eminem Show`, 2002), Norah Jones (`Feels Like Home`, 2004) and Usher (`Confessions`, 2004).
