London: Susan Sarandon has divulged that she conceived her daughter Eva, on Rome’s Spanish Steps.
She was speaking to an audience, in a TV show ‘Lucid Conversations’, about her difficulty in getting pregnant, until her then-lover, director Franco Amurri, took her to the outdoor tourist attraction in 1984. The mother of actress Eva Amurri, now 26, suggested anyone having trouble conceiving to “go to Italy”. “Don’t worry about it, eat, drink and **** and you’ll probably get pregnant,” a leading daily quoted her as saying. “And that’s what happened with Eva on the Spanish Steps,” she revealed. The 65-year-old, who suffered from the common infertility condition endometriosis, was with Italian Amurri for a year. ANI
