‘James Bond` star Ben Whishaw secretly married gay partner

Los Angeles: Actor Ben Whishaw, famously known as the Q of ‘Skyfall’, is confirmed to have quietly tied the knot with composer Mark Bradshaw in a civil ceremony last August in Sydney.

The 32-year-old British actor celebrated his first wedding anniversary today and his representative confirmed the news about the relationship, reported Aceshowbiz.

"Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors he prefers not to discuss his family or life outside of his work. Due to speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud to do so and are very happy," his representative said.

The couple met on the set of Jane Campion`s 2009 film ‘Bright Star’ about John Keats` romantic relationship with Fanny Brawne before the famed poet`s untimely death in February 1821. Whishaw played Keats opposite Abbie Cornish, while Bradshaw composed the score.
