`Lonely` Miss USA resorts to online dating after finding NYC`s dating scene `tough`

New York: Miss USA 2012, Nana Meriwether, has admitted that she finds it difficult to find love in New York City and has to look for love online.

The South African-born beauty told New York magazine that she finds it funny when she says yes to guys and they ask her `Are you real?’ the New York Post reported. Meriwether, who was also an All-American volleyball player at UCLA, asserted that even pageant-title-holders get lonely. She insisted that it`s a struggle to find love in the Big Apple, where busy singles have short attention spans. Meriwether told the publication that dating doesn`t exist in New York as there is so much going on in the city, so many distractions, that people just forget to go on a second date. ANI
