Los Angeles: Actress Olivia Wilde says she met real life strippers to understand her role better in her 2011 movie ‘Butter’ and says that it is an "under-appreciated dance form".
The 28-year-old plays a stripper in the comedy directed by Jim Field Smith and says her experience made her understand how difficult their job is. "We went down to Action Central Cabaret in Shreveport, Louisiana, and I got to hang out in the locker room with the strippers, and they were so sweet. They were really helpful. But also being able to hang out with the strippers let me know a little about the logistics of working at a strip club. I learned that what they do is incredibly difficult," a website has quoted her as saying. "It`s really an under-appreciated dance form," she added. Wilde will soon be seen in director Don Scardino`s comedy ‘Burt Wonderstone’, slated to release in 2013. IANS
