Rihanna, Aguilera’s gigs at ‘X Factor’ 2010 final ‘not too raunchy’

Rihanna and Christina Aguilera’s raunchy performances on X Factor 2010 final have been cleared by the media.

London: Rihanna and Christina Aguilera’s raunchy performances on X Factor 2010 final have been cleared by the media watchdog despite nearly 3,000 complaints.
Both stars wore skimpy clothing and performed racy dance moves, reports a newspaper. Ofcom said Aguilera, who sang Express, from the movie ‘Burlesque’, was "at the very margin of acceptability" before the 9pm watershed. It said: "The overtly sexual nature of the burlesque-style routine of the dancers was clearly capable of causing offence." But it rejected the 2,868 complaints about Rihanna and Aguilera, who sang What`s My Name. Ofcom said broadcasters of family shows "should recognize the potential for causing offence". ANI
