Washington: Charlie Sheen has revealed that he can understand why ‘Two And A Half Men’ bosses fired him, claiming he would have done the same had he been in their place.
During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, Sheen admitted that he wanted to make everything right, saying that the condition in which he used to show up for work was wrong.
“I’d have fired my a** too,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
“Well maybe not like they did... It was bad. And I own my part in that. And I just want to make everything right... I should have been a little more responsible about the condition I was showing up (to work) in but, you know, I was hitting my marks, I was delivering, but maybe at a sub-par level.
“But that’s alright... It is what it is, and I’m just moving forward,” he stated.
The 46-year-old actor was fired from the hit US TV series in February this year, after months of highly publicised bad behaviour and a dispute with the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre.
In March, Sheen filed a 100 million dollars (62.5 million pounds) lawsuit against Lorre, demanding compensation from him for the eight episodes scrapped by the producers as a result of the fall-out.
