Sophie Monk’s $1m Playboy offer raises few eyebrows

Melbourne: Australian pop singer Sophie Monk’s 1 million dollar Playboy offer has raised a few eyebrows, with critics believing the fee is too high for someone who is yet to make a name in the US.

Monk, 31, had told Kyle and Jackie O this month the US men’s magazine was “trying every angle” to convince her to appear in it.

“Yeah, so a million dollars, and it’s negotiable how much you show,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

Cheryl Cole, Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian had been offered similar sums to strip off for the publication.

“That sum does seem a little bit over-the-top,” ACP publisher Peter Holder said.
