Megan Fox’s topless scene fails to create stir in `Passion Play`

Fox’s stunning looks, skimpy outfits, a topless scene are not enough to save the mystery thriller.

Washington: Megan Fox’s latest flick “Passion Play” might just crash at the box office, considering the butchering comments she and her co-stars have received from critics ahead of the release.
Apparently, Fox’s stunning looks, skimpy outfits, a topless scene and a unique role as a ‘carnival oddity born with wings’ are not enough to save the mystery thriller. “Astoundingly bad. Unfathomably bad. As bad as any film Uwe Boll`s ever made, and then some,” wrote Chris Brumbay of JoBlow’s Movie Emporium. Megan, 24, stars alongside acting veterans Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray in the film about a washed-up jazz musician who falls for freakishly beautiful “angel” Lily. What glorifies the insult is the fact that “Passion Play” is not having a star-studded premiere and there was no promotional press day. Rourke himself trashed the movie saying, “It is terrible. Another terrible movie,” the Fox News quoted him as telling the New York Magazine. “But, you know, in your career and all the movies you make, you’re going to make dozens of terrible ones," he added.
