Snapchat releases update for iOS, Android: New Features

Snapchat has released an update for iOS and Android that includes a new feature called Travel Mode.

Washington: Snapchat has released an update for iOS and Android that includes a new feature called Travel Mode.

According to the Verge, when enabled the Travel mode will prevent Snaps, Discover, Stories, and friends' updates from automatically downloading and will only load if the users tap them, saving the users from hitting their internet data limit.

Also, Snapchat with a feature called Sticker Picker now allows the users to add many emojis anywhere on their snaps and no longer are they restricted to being on a line of text

In addition, the users will now be able to export their customized Snapcodes as a video file. Since the Snapcodes exports as a video file, they can share it as such on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and on any other place.

The option to export a single frame still exists but the users can easily screenshot the video and choose the specific frame they want to share.

Also, when the users tap on the eye icon next to the number of views on their snap will now bring up the list of viewers.

Earlier, t apping anywhere on one of the stories started playing the snap and the users had to take an extra step to see who viewed it.
