New York: Shia LaBeouf’s girlfriend Karolyn Pho broke into tears on Friday, just days after the actor confirmed that he is willing to do real sex in his upcoming movie ‘The Nymphomaniac.’
Pho, 23, appeared visibly upset during the 15-minute exchange, but she shot down reports that the row centered on his new film role.
“It’s none of anybody’s business. Everything is fine with us. I was nothing affiliated with his movie,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
“We’re normal people who have normal lives,” she said.
The incident ended with Pho wrapping an arm around the ‘Transformer’ star while he sat on the street curb smoking a cigarette.
LaBeouf, 26, told MTV News in an interview on Wednesday that his ‘Nymphomaniac’ boss Lars von Trier intended to show actual sex onscreen, and that he was willing to go wherever the Danish director led him.
“He’s very dangerous, you know. He’s like the most dangerous dude that I’ve ever showed up for. I’m terrified. I’m so terrified, which is why I have to go,” LaBeouf told MTV.
“There’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says, we’re all doing it for real.
“And everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening. It’s going to be a wild movie,” he said.
