Chennai: Nandamuri Balakrishna, one of the well-known stars of Telugu cinema, will be seen in political-drama ‘Ruler’, which will go on the floors in May.
"Scheduled to release around the general elections in 2014, `Ruler` will go on the floors from May 15. The film is set against a political backdrop and it has a message as well," a spokesperson of the film said.
Boyapati Srinu, who previously directed Balakrishna in Telugu super hit ‘Simha’, will helm the project, being co-produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under the 14 Reels Entertainment banner.
The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
