Udaipur royalty to attend Prince-Kate wedding

Udaipur: Among the Indian guests at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday will be `desi` royal Raghav Raj Singh of Shivrati, who studied with William and also played polo with him.

Raghav, 31, the current `maharajsahib` of Shivrati, a jaagir in the former princely state of Udaipur, will be accompanied by his wife Shailja at the wedding of William, the second-in-line to the British throne.

He studied with Prince William in London and developed friendship with him during his stay in England. They also shared a common interest in Polo and played together, family
sources said.

Kate is reportedly associated with the family`s Shivrati Trust which works for the underprivileged in Udaipur.
