Amanda Seyfried`s upbringing kept her away from boys

London: Amanda Seyfried admits restricted upbringing made her attitude negative towards boys and relationships.

"I grew up in a small town which wasn`t very open when it came to sex, and as a teenager I was scared of having sex. In school, most of the girls I hung out with were very uptight about kissing boys, so that shaped my attitude towards sex in a negative way," quoted her as saying.

"It took a while to overcome that conditioning and feel truly free about my body," she said.

The 25-year-old says she is still trying to understand and be comfortable with her own body.

"I`m still learning how to feel more in tune with my sensual side. It`s part of my battle with my own anxieties, but I`m on the right track," she said.
