Los Angeles: `Sex And The City` star Cynthia Nixon and partner Christine Marinoni have welcomed a baby boy.
Marinoni, an education activist, gave birth to Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni yesterday. The couple had kept the pregnancy a secret and there are no details regarding the identity of the biological father. "Christine and baby are doing great," a spokesperson told People magazine. Nixon, 44, already has two children from her relationship with Danny Mozes, whom she was in a relationship with for 15 years. The actress, who plays lawyer Miranda Hobbs in the popular TV and film versions, met Marinoni, 43, at an education rally in May 2002 while she was still will Danny. But she went public about her romance with Marinoni in 2004. Marinoni and Nixon became engaged in April 2009, but are holding out hope that they will be able to marry in their hometown of New York, where same-sex marriage is not yet legal. PTI
