Denise Richards getting along with Sheen for their kids’ sake

Washington: Denise Richards has admitted that she thinks it is “important” to maintain an amicable relationship with ex husband Charlie Sheen for the sake of their children.

Richards divorced the troubled actor in 2005 but says that she has learnt to accept him the way he is, for the sake of their children Lola and Sam. “I keep it about the kids and I think it’s important for them to see us get along and I’ve learned to accept him for who he is.” Contactmusic quoted her as telling on the TV talk show Chelsea Lately. Over the last year, Charlie has made headlines due to his wild antics and excessive partying, due to which he was fired from sit-com ‘Two and a Half Men’. Richards admits that she doesn’t allow her former spouse to spend time with their kids when his antics get too crazy. “I can’t change him. I’ve said this before, when he’s off doing his thing, he doesn’t see the girls and when he’s straight and good, we spend time together,” she added. ANI
