Hollywood siren Charlize Theron not planning to marry

London: Charlize Theron is campaigning for gay marriages to be made legal across the US, but does not want to wed herself.
The 35-year-old Oscar winner who split from long term partner Stuart Townsend last year enjoys being in a secure, long term relationship but personally sees no reason to have a marriage ceremony for herself, reported Femalefirst online. "I really want for myself a long-term relationship. And I have been in long-term relationships. That`s the kind of union that I want. The actual ceremony is not something that is important to me but I see the importance for other people," Theron said. The `Monster` actress is pleased about a vote in New York which allows same sex couples to marry, she`s doesn`t believe the US government is doing enough, as it is still banned in most states. "It (marriage) is a divine right and when government starts to tell us who can love and what is good love, I do have a problem with that. I have a problem with the fact that our government hasn`t stepped up enough to make this federal, to make this legal," she said. PTI
