Kate Moss’ fiance choses female band mate as ‘Best Woman’ for wedding

London: Kate Moss’s fiancé has apparently decided to defy the best ‘man’ tradition by asking his female band mate to be his ‘Best Woman’ at his wedding on Friday.

Jamie Hince reportedly asked his The Kills bandmate Alison Mosshart to organise his stag do, look after the ring and give a speech on the big day, reports a daily.

The pair have been likened to brother and sister on stage because of how closely they understand each other.

But the decision to have a woman serve as best man gives another curious twist to what is already one of the most talked-about weddings of the year.

The wedding will take place in front of 300 guests at Moss’ 2 million pounds mansion in a sleepy Cotswolds village near Burford.

Her daughter Lila Grace is expected to be bridesmaid, as is Sadie Frost`s daughter (Kate`s goddaughter) Iris Law.

Rockers Snoop Dogg and Iggy Pop are expected to perform at the wedding, which has been dubbed `Mosstock` as it will involve three days of partying.
