Los Angeles: Socialite Paris Hilton says she and DJ Afrojack are friends but never dated, and thus the rumours of their split were baseless.
Hilton, who calls the Dutch music composer her best friend, took to Twitter to clarify her side of the story, reports a website.
"DJ Afrojack is 1 of my best friends & always will be. Must be a slow news week that the media keeps making up these ridiculous stories," the 31-year-old hotel heiress said.
"(The reports are) 100 percent not accurate and are coming from inaccurate sources. Paris and Afrojack are best friends and love and support each other very much. Nothing has changed," a website has quoted Hilton`s representative as saying.
Hilton was recently at Cannes where she was seen mingling with many of her peers from the industry, including once-best friend Kim Kardashian.
