New York: When `Beatles` legend Paul McCartney ties the knot for the third time at the age of 68, it will be a small register office wedding.
The singer-songwriter`s fiancé, American entrepreneur Nancy Shevell, said that they have chosen a low-key ceremony, reported New York Post online.
"It will happen soon. Small. Just our families. I don`t know the exact date," said Shevell.
"And don`t ask what I`ll wear, because how dressy do you get to stand before a Justice of the Peace in his chambers, which is exactly what we`re going to do," she added.
The multi-millionaire, a divorcee herself, said that she was taken aback when McCartney proposed with a vintage 1925 Cartier engagement solitaire diamond.
The newlyweds will live in the UK, with her returning to the US once a month because of her business commitments.
"I`d love to live here (New York) but it`s probably England. I still have a job here so Ill commute once a month," said Shevell, 51.
McCartney`s first wedding to photographer Linda Eastman took place at the Marylebone Register Office in London in 1969.
The couple went on to have four children and were together till Eastman died of cancer in 1998.
His second nuptials, to model-turned-activist Heather Mills, were a more plush affair and took place at the Glaslough castle in Ireland in 2002.
