Mumbai: Bipasha Basu has been on a roll since she claimed single hood. The dusky beauty seems to be kissing all frogs and loving her quest till she finds her prince charming.
Post her brief fling with Shahid Kapoor that rather ended on an unpleasant note, she has been cosying up with her ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ co-star, Rana Duggabati once again.
The two seem to be so close that Rana especially flew down to Mumbai to be her date for the recent Bombay Times anniversary bash.
Says a source, "Bipasha didn`t want to come without an escort, as she knew that her former flames Shahid and John Abraham would also be there... so she brought Rana. She and Rana became friendly after working together in Dum Maro Dum and have grown close since," as reported a daily.
The buzz is that when Bombay Times had initially invited Rana for the party, he had said he would not be able to make it because of his shooting schedule. But when Bips moved her magic wand on the hunk actor, he flew down in a glimpse to woo the lady.
"He flew into Mumbai on November 5 at noon and checked into a suburban five-star hotel. Later that evening, he arrived at the party with Bipasha and her posse of friends. Rana returned to Hyderabad on an early morning flight the next day to resume work," said a source.
On being contacted by media, Bips denied asking Rana to attend the party with her, saying, "Why would I ask Rana to do that?" Why indeed!
