Ronnie Wood`s divorce finalised, wife gets USD 8 million
London: `Rolling Stones` guitarist Ronnie Wood`s 24-year-long marriage to Jo Wood is officially over and the former model will get USD 8 million and half of the rocker`s assets as alimony.
According to the settlement, the couple will divide their assets equally and Ronnie will keep the house in Ireland where he lived with 20-year-old waitress, Ekaterina Ivanova, causing a split with Jo, reported Daily Mail online.
"The decree absolute will come through on Tuesday or Wednesday. I`m not sure I can say anything about what I`ve got. Ronnie has got the house in Ireland and we have shared everything else. It means it is all done and dusted. I`m free and single," said 55-year-old Jo.
The 63-year-old guitarist`s relationship with his wife became bitter after his episode with Ivanova. However the affair with the waitress was short-lived and ended in 2009 following a violent row with the police stepping in to caution him.
Currently, the star is sharing a USD 8 million rented accommodation with his Brazilian polo coach girlfriend Ana Araujo, 31.
Ronnie and Jo married seven years after they started dating in 1978. The couple has two children, Leah, 32 and Tyrone, 26.
They have also raised Jo`s son Jamie, 35 from her first marriage and Jesse, 33, from Wood`s first marriage.
The couple`s former USD 21 million family home was sold off in last July as Jo wanted a smaller house, being single.
