London: Post her split from Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger has found a shoulder, to cry, in `X Factor` host Steve Jones.

Former Pussycat Dolls member, Scherzinger, 33, split from boyfriend of four years, is mending her broken heart with the support of Jones, reported Daily Miorror. "Nicole is crushed and has shed so many tears. Steve`s been a shoulder to cry on and a real gent. They have become close and have met up outside the studio. He listens to her and makes her laugh. There is unmistakable chemistry there," a source said. But any immediate romantic entanglement between the two, however, was quickly shot down. "Steve flirts with her whenever he can but she laughs it off. It is all very innocent," the source added. Scherzinger and Hamilton, who split amicably few days back blamed on their long distance relationship and busy schedules. "They`d been long distance for a long time and it`s just been hard. They both tried to make it work, but their careers kept them apart. So for now it`s over. They think this is what`s best. They`re definitely going to stay friends," a close friend of the couple said.
