London: Peaches Geldof`s husband Max Drummey has finally filed for divorce in Los Angeles, more than two years after announcing their split.
Drummey cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split in papers filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, reports TMZ. The couple got married in August 2008, just 10 days after they met. Peaches, then 19, eloped to Vegas and married the American musician after dumping her previous boyfriend Faris Badwin. But cracks appeared early on in the relationship and it was reported in November 2008 that Peaches, who was trying to forge a career as a writer at the time, had told Drummey after a series of rows that the relationship was over. In February 2009, they confirmed their split in a joint statement. Peaches is currently dating Thomas Cohen. IANS
