I have been impressed by the development in Gujarat. Seeing everyone happy and content gives me immense pleasure. The best man for the country should be the PM, good man (Narendra Modi) is standing next to me.
Is there some kind of a constitutional law that says that somebody has some political belief and therefore you can`t be friends with him? Everybody has the freedom to be friends with anyone. You are talking about my role in promoting Gujarat, which is part of my country. Modi is a constitutionally elected chief minister of a state. Deny him that, and then talk to me”, said to a tabloid on being asked if he feels Modi has secular credentials.
I have met Narendra Modi twice. He is a great person and a great human being. People of Gujarat are very lucky to have a leader like him.
What I am seeing is that the entire team of BJP, be it volunteers or common people or the leaders have got so energized by Narendra Modi ji that if he becomes our Prime Minister and the dream of lakhs of people come true, you can imagine how much energy will be filled within our country.
I wish Narendra Modi should become the PM.

When I was asked if I would like to host the Google hangout with Narendra Modi, I instantly grabbed the opportunity because I had heard a lot about him. I had heard people talk about his leadership abilities, about the reforms he has introduced from education to infrastructure; industries get red carpet welcome in Gujarat; he is people’s leader. I got an opportunity to meet him when I started a solar power project in Gujarat. Whatever I had heard about him until then tuned out to be true.
Talking to a daily, Juhi said, “I think Narendra Modi has done good work in Gujarat. Our country needs leaders like Narendra bhai, a leader who has vision, discipline and direction.”

I would like Modi to become the Prime Minister and expand the Gujarat model of development across the country.
I am going to extend my full support to Mr Modi. He will surely be the next Prime Minister. I have no doubts about it.

Shocking to see some colleagues , under garb of stopping so-called divisive forces, are themselves dividing a secular place like Bollywood.Launching a personal attack on a man who has done more for his State than any other leader, reeks of conspiracy & unwarranted paranoia.Let`s hope better sense prevails and our film industry elects @narendramodi with a thumping majority. It`s time India got a visionary leader.

Modi ji met me earlier as well when I was hospitalised and at that time I invited him over a cup of tea whenever he is in Chennai. We are good friends. This was a courtesy call. When I was unwell, Modi ji wished me well. We wish him well in the elections. This is the reason Modi ji has come today to meet me on the occasion of Tamil new year. We all know he is a strong leader and an able administrator.
Met #namo. You know a leader has the youth pulse when he can discuss job creation and is still up for a selfie!
