Mumbai: If you are a bird lover then you cannot afford to miss the Sultanpur sanctuary near Gurgaon (now Gurugram) in Haryana. As many as  250 species of bird have been spotted in the park which is about 15 kilometers away from the city on the Gurgaon-Farrukh Nagar road.

Touted as a paradise for bird lovers, the Sultanpur sanctuary is home to both resident and migratory birds.

Local birds inhabit the sanctuary during the summer-monsoon season and are joined by their migratory friends post September.

If one wishes to catch glimpses of the birds from distant lands, its best to visit the sanctuary during the winters (December to February).
