International brands world over are preparing for the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France from 26th October- 31st October, 2014.
According to Patrick Bouchard,TFWA Vice-President, “The buildup to this major annual event is always intense. Each brand wants to showcase its most innovative and exciting products. Many of them choose this platform to launch world ‘firsts’ and travel-retail exclusives.
It is vital to have the product, the packaging and the sales pitch all perfect because if you miss this boat, you miss the best opportunity in the year to do business in the duty-free and travel-retail domain. For many categories, TFWA World Exhibition & Conference has become a crucial milestone for brands and key retailers to close the forthcoming promotional and launch plan”.
Over 470 exhibiting companies have confirmed their stands at the event, of which 42 are new to the show or are returning after a brief absence.
Some of the headline companies which will debut at the event are Champagne Laurent Perrier and Treasury Wine Estates; Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Hedgren, National Geographic Store, Princesse Tam Tam and Radley London, Aurora World and also Staedtler Mars gifts & toys, La Cure Gourmande fine food; Perfumer’s Workshop and Shanghai Jahwa Herborist with fragrances and cosmetics.
