London: A new survey has revealed that being absent-mindednes is one of the reasons behind rows duringfamily holidays.

According to the survey by accommodation rental site HouseTrip, a third of families have fallen out over someone'sabsent-mindedness and getting lost and failing to ask for directions is the second most common cause of holiday bust-ups, the Daily Express reported.

It was also found that fussy children refusing to sample the cuisine came next, while not agreeing on where to eat dinner or on what music to play in the car and partners who flirt with the locals are also potential reasons behind fights.

Almost a quarter of people blamed hot holiday weather for making them more irritable, while a fifth said cramped accommodation made them more cranky.
