I might not be able to see you but still feel you around …that’s because I love you.

I know I am at a distance from you but still find you near me
I know it takes long for me to come to meet you but still I do …because I love you.

I know how much I scream at you and hurt you at times
I do suffer the pain as much as you do…perhaps more…that is because I love you.
I might have my best friends with me and doing things I love doing
I miss you like mad and wish you were around ….just because I love you.

I know how much you hate certain things about me and how I go about doing them to annoy you
I do come crawling on my knees to say sorry to you…just because I love you.

I know I do injustice to you when I get insane because of my inflated ego
I know how much I curse myself for being so unjust to you… only because I love you.

I know you read my heart well and know what I am in need of
I know you give me your all and I give my all to you…. just because I love you.

I do, on several occasions treat you like my property as if you were an inanimate object
I know how dangerous I could be to people who disrespect you… only because I love you.

I know how terrible you feel when we have a fight and make a mess of a beautiful evening
I know how miserable I feel and abuse you but the very next minute say sorry to you…just because I love you.

I get devastated when I hear some shocking news and people’s cry of being bereaved.
I know… I pass through hell and the first thing I do is to call you to find out if you are safe and sound…that’s because I love you.

I love you for what you are, who you are and I know what I am because of you.
I love you for shaping me, I love you for making me what I am and I just cannot stop loving you…and that is because I love you.
