Robert Vadra cheers for childhood friend Ashish Soni
New Delhi: Dressed in a skin-fit black t-shirt and jeans, and sporting his signature pencil moustache, entrepreneur Robert Vadra cheered for his childhood friend designer Ashish N. Soni at the Van Heusen India Men`s Week (VHIMW) Friday.
What Vadra didn`t know was that he was also an "unintentional" muse for the designer.
Looking fit and fab with a toned body, Vadra was seated in the front row with his son Raihan for Soni`s Spring-Summer 2011 collection that was a reinvention of the 1970s Englishman`s looks in contemporary style.
The models were seen sporting pencil moustaches a la Vadra, which Soni quipped was an "unintentional inspiration" from Vadra.
Vadra made a quick exit after the show without commenting much.
"I don`t attend fashion shows that much but I am here only for Ashish, who is an old friend of mine. I liked the colours and the fittings, and I`d definitely like to pick some," said Vadra, who is known for his fashion statement.
Asked where was his fashionable wife Priyanka, he said: "She is relaxing at home. She is not really interested in coming to fashion shows."
