London: While most celebrity mothers fret about getting back in shape soon after giving birth, actress Ashley Jensen does is not under pressure to lose her baby weight.
The `Ugly Betty` star, who has nine month old son Francis with husband Terence Beesley refused to put herself on a strict diet to shed pounds quickly after birth and was happy to give in to her cravings, Contactmusic reported.
"I put no pressure on myself at all and I was breastfeeding so sometimes I would say, `I need a chocolate eclair - I`m going down the road for a cake`," Ashley said.
"I thought I`d developed a really crazy sweet tooth but I think it was my body saying it needed extra calories. I treated breastfeeding like my job. I watched what I ate - apart from the eclairs and half a Guinness because my doctor said I could," she added.
However the 40-year-old beauty admits that living in figure conscious LA, she needs to get back in shape as soon as possible.
"But I know I need to whip myself into shape or everyone will say, `Look at Ashley`s body`. I had people taking photos of me six weeks after I gave birth. I got out for the first time and somebody said I looked like Margaret Thatcher. But that`s just part and parcel of the job - I try not to mind," Ashley said.
