New York: Singer Billy Joel is recuperating after surgery on both his hips to treat a congenital ailment.
"Billy Joel is doing extremely well following bilateral hip replacement," people.com quoted Joel`a spokesperson Claire Mercuri as saying.
However, it is still not known when will he return to work.
