Emma Stone bakes to tackle anxiety
Washington: Emma Stone has revealed that she turned to baking during the making of new movie ‘The Amazing Spider-man’ to cope with her anxiety.
The 23-year-old actress, who has suffered terrifying panic attacks since she was a young girl, recently admitted she relied on a stunt double to re-enact Jennifer Grey’s iconic ‘Dirty Dancing’ leap when her fear of heights got the best of her while shooting 2011 movie ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’
Now, Stone reveals she developed a passion for making cakes and cookies while shooting her new superhero blockbuster because spending time in the kitchen helped her relax.
“I think I felt really out of control of my surroundings. I was just baking all the time,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling telling Vogue magazine.
“There were stacks of things in the kitchen that nobody could possibly go through.
“It seemed like it made me feel, if I put these in, I’ll know what the outcome is... I was over-baking,” she said.
